The mental health and rest service is a unit in nursing and care with a total of 45.60 man-years. The unit is divided into 3 teams that have specialist expertise within their target group. Most of the services are decision-based, where the professionals in the unit are responsible for the follow-up that is provided.

The treatment team: Services are provided to residents with mild to moderate mental health problems. Preferably from our premises in Mhuset in Brumunddal.

Ambulant team: Follows up users with substance abuse, ROP or more severe mental disorders. Responsible for following up users in housing units for drug addicts - 8 apartments. Works a lot outside and at home with users. Users have individually tailored follow-up. Medicine dispensing is part of the offer. The department has leasing cars at its disposal. Works 2 split shifts day/evening and 3rd every weekend

Housing social department: Consists of a 24-hour staffed care home with 16 apartments. Users with complex challenges who need a high level of care within mental health, substance abuse and ROP live in the home. Medication dispensing is part of the service. The users have individually tailored follow-up. The department has a leasing car. There are two shifts day/evening and long shifts every 4th weekend, and there are separate night shifts. The home is located in Brumunddal.

We are looking for:

Forward-thinking, committed and robust summer vacation temps who have a desire to try themselves in a service where you can really make a difference for people. We want action-oriented team players with qualities in relationship, collaboration, openness and reflection. We are in need of temporary staff in the outpatient team and the social housing department. The shifts will be day/evening, weekend and possibly night.

Tasks:

Be part of a team that works around users. Individual follow-up of users according to plans and needs. Environmental work in the unit's residential facilities and other home residents. Distribution of medication. Documentation and case management. Collaboration internally in the unit as well as other agencies in the municipality / specialist health service.

Qualifications:

  • It is desirable with relevant experience in mental health and substance abuse work - or other relevant experience.
  • Personal suitability will be particularly emphasized.
  • Good collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make choices and decisions.
  • The applicant must have a driver's license for car class B.
