Are you looking for a challenging, educational and exciting summer job? Then you may be the one we are looking for!
The health and care department in Hamar municipality is looking for holiday temps for the summer. The size of the position will vary according to need.

The service for the disabled consists of several residential communities that are organized as self-managed work teams. Some of our focus areas are to give our users a meaningful everyday life, contribute to good user participation and constantly develop the professional quality of our services. We are proud of the services we offer and have high job satisfaction among our employees.

The holiday period is from week 26 up to and including week 33 (23.6.25 - 17.8.25) and we are looking for you who can work a minimum of 4 weeks during this time period, but preferably longer. It is desirable that you start with training shifts in good time before the summer vacation period starts. We work in shifts, so you must be prepared to work days, evenings, long shifts, weekends and possibly nights. Please note that the weeks 28-32 are when we have the most need. Please state which weeks are relevant to work. Applications will be assessed on an ongoing basis, and we will contact you if you are suitable for the position.


Tasks

  • Practical assistance and guidance to users in daily activities
  • Targeted environmental work
  • Assisting/accompanying leisure activities - for example swimming, cycling, fishing, cinema, bowling etc.
  • Documentation in the Gerica system
  • Contribute to a positive collaboration with relatives and other partners

Qualifications

  • We are looking for students in social care, nursing or others with 3-year health and social or educational education, as well as health professionals and others with experience and interest in working with people with intellectual disabilities
  • You must be over 16 years old
  • Preferably have knowledge of epilepsy, Chap. 9 on coercion and force and targeted environmental work
  • Have good presentation skills, both orally and in writing
  • Valid work and residence permit
  • Good ICT knowledge, preferably experience with the Gerica system
  • All positions require a police certificate, cf. the Act on Municipal Health and Care Services § 5-4, a certificate is provided to the employer before joining
  • It is also desirable with a driver's license cl. B, but not a requirement

COMMON FOR THE POSITIONS:
Salary according to central and local agreements
Jfr. According to the municipality's salary policy, students in a minimum 3-year course in health, social or educational studies will be ensured a higher salary upon submission of documentation of the study

The appointment is made on the terms set out in laws, regulations and collective agreements, including membership of the pension scheme in accordance with the applicable agreement
The appointee must provide confirmed information on tuberculosis conditions / tuberculin status and MRSA status
For positions requiring a driver's license, a copy of the driver's license must be submitted before taking up the position

Annual salary in a 100% position:

  • Young worker (16 - 18 years), NOK 344 250.00
  • Assistants (over 18 years), from NOK 382 500.00 to NOK 479 700.00
  • Nurse and social worker students, from NOK 393 600.00 to NOK 439 900.00
  • Authorized health worker, from NOK 437 300.00 to NOK 513 100.00
  • Authorized nurse/social worker, from NOK 542 400.00 to NOK 631 400.00
