Do you want to play a central role in a dynamic business and be responsible for our car fleet? We are looking for a structured and analytical Car Manager/Fleet Manager to take responsibility for our fleet of around 550-600 vehicles. Are you structured, administratively skilled and have a business mind? Then this could be the role for you! About the role As a Fleet Manager, you are the spider in the web responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our fleet. You ensure that our vehicles are always in top condition through regular maintenance and efficient use. With your analytical skills and experience, you will produce statistics, make calculations and propose improvements, including decisions on vehicle replacement. The role is crucial to optimize the use of our resources and ensure seamless operations. You will work closely with our purchasing organization to continuously carry out procurements, where your statistics and experience are an important part of the decision-making process. Your main tasks: - Manage the administration of the car fleet, including handling collision damage, service and inspection. - Keeping track of mileage and condition of cars to plan maintenance and possible replacement. - Calculate and produce statistics to inform decisions. - Suggest and implement improvements that make the fleet more efficient. - Communicate with suppliers, workshops and internal departments. - Ensure all vehicles are compliant and operational according to business needs. - Identify and implement improvements to optimize costs and efficiency. Who are you? To succeed in this role, we want you to be an administrative star who enjoys having many balls in the air. You are meticulous, responsible and have a natural interest in numbers and analysis. At the same time, you have a good business sense and can balance a focus on detail with a holistic perspective. We are looking for you who have: - Experience in managing and coordinating car fleets or similar activities. - Strong administrative skills and experience working with the Office suite, especially Excel - Good statistical and costing skills. - Ability to work in a structured and efficient manner, with a focus on accuracy - An analytical mind and an interest in finding new solutions and efficiencies - Basic understanding of car maintenance and vehicle related issues. - Previous experience in purchasing/logistics is an advantage - B driving license (required). Meritorious: - Experience working in ERP or fleet management systems. - Previous experience in managing service contracts or contact with workshops.
