About the role
As a manager in our Lifting Department, you will lead a team of 10 technicians who are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes, lifting devices and lifting equipment at our customers. Our team handles service, new installations and projects, where the technicians have broad competence in electrical engineering, mechanics and maintenance, and you will play a central role in supporting and further developing their expertise. Your role will involve leading, coaching and developing the team to ensure we meet customer needs in the best possible way. Our teams work on both emergency repairs and planned interventions, preventive maintenance and inspections, to keep all types of lifting equipment and tools in top condition. In addition, you will plan and improve workflows, ensuring that we always maintain high standards of both safety and quality.
The work in the Lifting Department is varied and requires a flexible and solution-oriented approach. As we handle both emergency and planned maintenance operations, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships and find effective solutions for our customers' needs. You will participate in the management team and report regularly to the Regional Manager.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have previous experience as a manager and preferably in change management, preferably in the industrial sector. In this role, you will be responsible for deliverables, results and employee development within your department.
We are looking for you who have:
- Experience as a manager with a focus on driving and achieving goals in similar roles.
- Manage and develop the department and create an engaged and productive team, through active leadership that inspires and motivates.
- Prepare quotations, manage projects and work on budgeting and forecasting.
- Ability to lead teams in a customer-oriented environment, with strong technical understanding of industrial maintenance.
- Skills in managing financial aspects of service delivery.
- A clear structure, high work ethic and attention to detail with orderliness.
- Experience in creating and maintaining good relationships internally and externally.
- Previously worked actively on health and safety issues and have a safety mindset in everything you do.
B -driving license and good language skills in both Swedish and English are requirements for the role.
