Due to increased demand, we are now looking for a mechanical engineer with a focus on lifting tools. The role As a mechanical designer at Jernbro, you will work with the entire design process - from concept and design to calculations, documentation and CE marking. Your main focus will be on lifting tools and lifting equipment, where you will have the opportunity to develop solutions used in both medium and heavy industry. The role includes design and development of lifting tools and mechanical solutions, strength calculations and safety analysis, CE marking and work according to the Machinery Directive. You will also produce design documentation and documentation and collaborate with customers and colleagues to find optimal solutions. We work with customers in both medium and heavy industry, which makes the job both varied and challenging. Who are you? We are looking for you who have experience in mechanical design and a background in industry. You work independently and take responsibility for driving projects forward, while thriving in an environment where collaboration and joint solutions are a natural part of the work. We believe you have: - Experience of construction in industry - Good experience of working in CAD (we use Creo Elements Direct Modeling) - Knowledge in strength calculations - Understanding of the Machinery Directive and CE marking - Good knowledge of Swedish If you also have experience of FEM calculations, Eurocodes, welded structures or hydraulics/pneumatics, this is an advantage, but not a requirement.
