We are looking for a driven and experienced MEK engineer to join our team! Do you have a passion for mechanical engineering and want to work in a technically exciting and dynamic environment? Then this could be the right position for you! Job description We are looking for a committed and careful MEK engineer who wants to be part of our team in Skultuna. You will be part of a group consisting of design managers, buyers and installers. Mainly you will work with our manufacturing projects of large withdrawal boxes for large synchronous machines, but also have the opportunity to participate in our external projects in the Industry. In the role of MEK engineer you will: - Be responsible for our MEK design of high voltage socket boxes with associated components - Be involved in producing design documentation in project activities, including final documentation - Responsibility for the purchase of "long lead items" and follow-up of these in the project activities - Responsible for updating existing design documentation and converting from 2D CAD to 3D CAD - Participation in the product development process from concept to finished product - Collaboration with other engineers and departments to ensure project success. Qualifications To succeed in the role, we look for you to have: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience - At least 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and development - Good knowledge of CAD programs (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) - Experience with Microsoft 365 - Strong problem solving skills and analytical thinking - Good communication and collaboration skills What we offer We offer you a unique opportunity to contribute to Jernbro's development journey.
