We recently moved into state-of-the-art premises in Norra Ryd's industrial area - a pleasant and safe workplace with 50 committed colleagues, 30 of whom belong to Component Service. In the Electric Motor Service department, you will be part of a close-knit group of 6 people. We are a family unit that works together to deliver top quality and reliable service to our customers in the automotive and other industries. We work with repairs of electric motors, spindles, and electronics as well as with service and rebuilds directly at our customers. We have a wide and varied clientele ranging from local companies to national and international players. About the service As our new precision mechanic, you will be part of our specialized electric motor service group, where you will work independently with troubleshooting, repairing and improving electric motors. Here you will have the opportunity to develop and adapt working methods to best meet customer needs. With us, you get to work with many different types of electric motors, such as servo motors, robot motors and spindle motors. The work is mainly done in our workshop, but there is also the opportunity to visit customers on site. We work closely together to ensure the highest quality in all aspects of our work. With us, you will have the freedom to use your technical skills to the full. Job duties As our precision engineer, you will have a lot of responsibility and support from experienced colleagues in a wide range of tasks. Some of the things you will work on are: - Troubleshooting and repairing different types of electric motors. - Collaborating with colleagues on mechanical solutions. - Working with machining centers. There is also the opportunity to immerse yourself in specific areas depending on your interest, for example in rewinding electric motors or servo technology. We work brand-independently with a wide range of motor makes and types, giving you unique opportunities to constantly learn and develop. Who are you? We are looking for you with a great interest in technology, drive and curiosity to develop. As a person, you are structured, methodical and have a service-oriented attitude. You work well in a team, but can also work independently and take your own initiatives. Skills that are valuable for the role: - Strong mechanical interest and understanding of electromechanics. - Creative problem solving skills - If you have previously worked in precision engineering, have experience with electric motors or precision engineering repairs, this is a big plus.
