As our new Precision Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise in electric motor repair and troubleshooting, while developing your skills and contributing to our successful team! Who are we? At Komponentservice in Skövde, you will join a unit that has increased in volume in recent years and the ambition going forward is to continue to grow the business. You end up in a large company that provides security, a unit with low staff turnover and a flat organization where there is the opportunity to influence. We have recently moved into brand new premises in Norra Ryd's industrial area, where we have designed a safe and pleasant workplace. We are around 50 employees housed in Norra Ryd, of which 30 belong to Component Service. At Komponentservice in Skövde, we repair electric motors, spindles, electronics, as well as perform service and rebuilds on machines at our customers. Our customers consist of a large flora both locally and nationally, but there is also some element of international customers. For our electric motor workshop, we are looking for you who are service-oriented and curious, with a penchant for electromechanical work. You will work with both interesting and developing technical challenges. The department is a small group of 6 competent employees who work closely together to deliver top-class service every day to our customers, mainly in the automotive industry. What do you get? As part of the electric motor service team, you will take on challenges every day with support. Your role will consist of repairing electric/servomotors and contributing to improvements and solutions to fine mechanical problems. The work involves great opportunity for variety as we are brand independent and repair a wide range of brands, as well as many types of electric motors such as servo motors, robot motors, AGV motors, DC motors, spindle motors and asynchronous motors. Most of the work is done in our own workshop, but if you want to come out to the customer, there are also occasions when we perform service on site at our customers. You will mainly work independently with great personal responsibility, but at the same time have a close collaboration with your colleagues. A selection of the tasks that you will initially encounter are: - Troubleshooting / repair of various electric motors. - Ballboard in case of fine mechanical problems. - Development of test equipment and working methods. - Running of machining centers. Depending on your background and interest, there are also opportunities to develop in different directions within the department, for example towards rewinding electric motors or servo technology. As a person, you are structured and methodical, flexible, service-oriented, and we attach great importance to a sense of responsibility and a sense of order. It is important that you can work both independently and in a team. In addition to mechanical aptitude, the profession of precision mechanic requires ingenuity, troubleshooting methods and high accuracy. Dealing with sensors and parameterization also requires computer skills and a basic understanding of electricity. You should be comfortable working with various digital tools and software to support your work.
