At Komponentservice in Skövde, we repair electric motors, spindles, electronics, as well as service and rebuild machines at our customers' premises. Our customers consist of a large flora both locally and nationally, but there is also a certain element of international customers. about the job  As a Spindle/Fine mechanic, you are part of our specialist team for the renovation of machining spindles. This means disassembly, troubleshooting and analysis of damaged spindles, measuring, mounting, balancing and running in our test benches, as well as issuing test reports before delivery to the customer. Most of the work is carried out in our workshop, however, work may occur with, among other things, problem solving, disassembly and assembly of spindles in the customer's machine. You will mainly work independently, but at the same time have close cooperation with your colleagues.  The duties include, among other things: • Troubleshooting/renovation of various spindles. • Measuring and adjusting mechanical details at a high level of accuracy. • Development of test equipment and manufacture of special tools. • Make suggestions for improvements to operations. • Operate processing machines.  About you  We are looking for you with an aptitude for mechanical work, we see that you have a great interest in technology and have studied at high school, preferably with a mechanical focus. To succeed in the role, we see that you have previous experience in machine renovation, mechanical maintenance work, machining and/or the like. You can handle machine tools and have knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electricity. You can read drawings and handle measuring tools. As a person, you are flexible, service-oriented, and we attach great importance to a sense of responsibility and a sense of order. The work requires a great deal of accuracy and analytical ability.
