JERNBRO is looking for a preparer or an experienced welder who wants to grow into the role of estimator. With us, you will be able to calculate and submit tenders for welded and machined steel structures. Job description Jernbro is in an expansive phase and needs to strengthen with a calculator in Finspång. In our workshop, we manufacture welded and machined parts and steel structures based on the customer's specific requirements and wishes. All manufacturing is done with full traceability and documentation. The majority of the structures are produced in carbon steel, but we also manufacture products in stainless steel and aluminum. You will be trained in a role where your overall tasks will be to process inquiries and build a calculation regarding time and input materials and then submit tenders. You will handle customer and supplier contacts and get to work closely with production and follow the products you have calculated and, in consultation with the production manager, ensure quality, delivery precision and customer satisfaction. Who are you? We are looking for you who are already a processor or you who have at least 5 years of experience in welding and want to take on new challenges. You will use your previous experience to grow into a role where you count on jobs, but in the future will also have a project management function. To succeed in the role, you have experience of being able to read and understand drawings, good basic knowledge of Word and Excel and a general interest in technical solutions. We would like to see that you have experience of working in a workshop environment but also at customer sites, for example during maintenance stops/assembly of manufactured products. You are social and have an open mind to learn new things and take advantage of your new colleagues' experience and knowledge. You can express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing.
