Are you a driven and experienced leader with an eye for logistics and structure? Do you want to manage a team in a dynamic environment? We are now looking for a Freight Reception Supervisor who wants to take responsibility for the daily operations and ensure that the business runs smoothly.
About the role
As a Freight Reception Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and distributing the work of a team of approximately 10 people. You will ensure that incoming goods are handled efficiently and that the workflow functions optimally. The role involves both operational and administrative work where you become a key person in the logistics chain.
Your duties will include, among other things:
- Managing and distributing the daily work in the freight reception
- Ensuring that deliveries are received and handled correctly
- Booking transports and liaising with freight forwarders
- Posting invoices and handling administrative tasks related to goods reception
- Ensure that health and safety procedures are followed
- Participate in operational work when needed, including forklift driving
We are looking for people who:
- Have leadership experience and have previously worked as a manager or supervisor
- Experience working in goods reception, warehousing or logistics
- Have experience in reading drawings
- Is a structured and solution-oriented person with good planning skills
- Have experience in administrative tasks and invoice management
- Has a forklift license and experience driving a forklift
- Is communicative and has the ability to motivate and develop your team
