The work in a smaller municipality means a breadth of tasks and you participate in entire processes from idea to finished result. This makes the work very varied. In addition to functional internal work within municipal infrastructure, you will have a collaboration with community strategists, GIS coordinators, VA staff and more. Full-time with the possibility to work remotely to some extent after completion of the induction. Probationary employment may be relevant. WORK DUTIES As a measurement technician within the community and infrastructure function, you will primarily work with documentation of municipal infrastructure such as water and sewage. Together with the street manager and supervisor, you will be responsible for updating our digital map database. Your main tasks during the bare ground period will be measuring municipal infrastructure out in the field. A large part of the work during the winter months takes place from the office, editing existing digital map data and adding new ones. During the winter months, there is the possibility of flexible employment. You will also be part of the team that arranges Jokkmokk's Winter Market. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with experience in surveying and knowledge of GIS. Documented knowledge in ARCGIS and GEOSECMA is meritorious for this position. You also advantageously have experience with water and sewage systems. Furthermore, you are technically knowledgeable and have good computer skills. We are looking for you who are practical, committed, well organized and safety aware. You enjoy working independently with the freedom to organize your assignment but also part of a group. Driving license B is a requirement. Training in ARCGIS work on the way, etc. is meritorious.
