As our current business economist is moving on to new challenges, we are looking for you who want to help develop and improve the municipality's financial and business management processes.
As an economist in Jokkmokk municipality, you are centrally located in the finance function and report directly to the finance manager. You will be part of a developing team of six people who work broadly in all areas of the municipality's activities.

WORK TASKS
In the role of business economist, you will work with budget, analysis and follow-up and be a sounding board for both business managers and unit managers in financial matters. You will also carry out investigative assignments within your own
own area of activity and participate in municipality-wide investigations.
As Jokkmokk is a small municipality, there are also the usual financial administrative tasks such as ongoing accounting and financial statements.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a university degree in economics, or have a background that we consider equivalent.
You have experience and good knowledge of the Office package and it is meritorious if you have experience of working in municipal operations and have experience of Visma's business solutions RoR and BoP.
You have good communication skills, think long-term and are service-oriented, unpretentious and flexible in working with others. You are used to and enjoy working independently as well as in a team and also feel comfortable in situations where you act as an internal trainer within the organization. As you will have many both internal and external contacts, you also possess good interpersonal skills and you have a good command of the Swedish language both in speech and in writing.
