In recent years, community planning has resulted in several prestigious projects, including Campus Jokkmokk with Vattenfall's new offices, detailed plans for energy-intensive businesses and major plans in the tourism industry. We are now looking for a committed Coordinating Plan Architect/Social Planner who wants to lead and develop Jokkmokk's community planning work. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the municipality's future through strategic and sustainable development work in close collaboration with politicians, colleagues and external actors. WORK TASKS As a community planning coordinator, you will take overall responsibility for coordinating and running projects within master plans, detailed plans and other strategic development projects. Your role will include: - driving and coordinating the community planning work of the municipality with a focus on sustainable development. - to lead planning projects from the idea stage and planning decision to the finished plan in collaboration with internal and external parties. - representing Jokkmokk in inter-municipal projects, especially focusing on energy and community planning in the green industrial transition. - ensuring that community planning complies with current legislation and promotes long-term goals. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for people with an academic degree in spatial planning or equivalent and who are passionate about sustainable spatial development. You have several years of experience in spatial planning and are well versed in the Planning and Building Act (PBL) and the Environmental Code. You are used to handling GIS or CAD systems and have experience of managing complex projects. If you have also worked with inter-municipal cooperation, this is a great advantage. Additional qualifications: - Knowledge of Geosecma and ArcGIS. - Experience in project management or staff management. - Ability to think strategically and generate creative solutions in complex contexts.
