JOB DESCRIPTION As Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving and shaping the municipality's community planning and growth. You will work closely with the municipal management, the business community and other stakeholders to translate goals and visions into concrete results. With both a strategic and operational approach, you create the conditions for an attractive, sustainable and growing municipality. The department you lead also has a clear focus on the tourism and hospitality industry, an important engine for local business and municipal development. Your main responsibilities include: - Leading and developing the municipality's work on strategic community planning - Ongoing master planning, consultation management and strategic assignments such as social sustainability, infrastructure, water and green structure. - Collaboration with the local business community, the business company and other external actors - Acting as a cohesive link internally and externally with the various stakeholders - Responsibility for a staff group of six people working in community planning and tourism QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with an academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
