The health and medical care unit is part of the social services' activities aimed at nursing and care homes, home care and disability. The unit consists of nurses, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and
assistant nurses who provide qualified medical care with the patient in focus.

JOB DESCRIPTION
In the role of Unit Manager for licensed staff and assistant nurses, you are responsible for the daily operations in close collaboration with your colleagues and directly subordinate to the Operations Manager
- Managing, planning and developing activities
- Personnel responsibility, recruitment and skills development within the team
- Ensuring quality and safety in municipal primary care
- Collaborate with other units and stakeholders
- Developing and implementing strategies
- Conduct regular dialogues with employees and other stakeholders to create a quality operation
- Delegated work environment responsibility
- Budgetary responsibility
QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualification from a relevant higher education institution that is adequate for the mission and activities
- Documented experience of leadership in health care
- Good knowledge of current legislation in health care, SoL and LSS
- Clear leadership where employees are inspired to develop
- Ability to work strategically and long-term with business development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to quality and results
