Östra skolan in Jokkmokk is looking for a career counselor, who is interested, has the ability to lead, engage and who wants to develop the students' ability in their future choices. You have a drive and commitment to your work. If you like teamwork and solution focus, this is a job for you! WORK TASKS From the fall, there are just over 200 students in grades 4-9 at Östra skolan. The study and career counselor is an important function for students to be able to make informed and well-founded choices. Individual counseling sessions, group discussions and class information are the basis of contact with the students. You will also provide support to the principal, the team and the student health service. The work also involves contact with guardians, representatives of the world of work and business, other education systems and external social actors. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a study and vocational counselor degree and experience in the profession. You are structured, flexible and find it easy to build trust in contacts with others. You have a drive to learn and find new ways, you have high digital and administrative skills. You use your commitment to motivate people you meet at work. In conversations, you have a coaching approach and have great faith in the individual's own ability to find solutions. You express yourself well in speech and writing and have good knowledge of the Swedish study system. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Experience is required.
