The health and medical care unit is part of the social services' activities aimed at nursing and care homes, home care and functional support. The unit consists of nurses, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and assistant nurses who provide qualified medical care with the patient in focus. You will work in a dynamic and varied environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the quality of care for our citizens. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The work includes customary nursing tasks such as: - Carrying out medical assessments, planning care interventions and performing treatments - Providing care and support to patients and families - Proactive work - Documenting and following up patients in medical record systems - Collaborate with doctors, rehabilitation teams, other healthcare providers and external stakeholders - Collaborate internally with other actors within the Social Services - Provide support and guidance to nursing staff and students QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a Registered Nurse / Specialist Nurse - Experience of municipal primary care is an advantage - Good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing - Ability to work independently and in a team - Empathy and sensitivity to patient needs - Interest in quality and development work - Flexibility and willingness to work when needed OTHER Jokkmokk municipality strives for gender balance and ethnic and cultural diversity in our activities.
