Kulturskolan in Jokkmokk is now looking for a teacher who can teach children and young people 3D modeling with Blender. The teaching is partly done remotely, with the exception of start-up and closing sessions that take place on site. Why are 3D modeling and digital art part of culture? Digital art and 3D modeling are a growing part of today's cultural expression. From games and movies to art exhibitions and interactive experiences, the possibilities of 3D are endless. By combining artistic and technical skills, children can create their own worlds and characters, while learning important tools that can be used in many industries. A fixed-term part-time position starting on 2025-02-03 with duration until 2025-06-13. DUTIES. As a 3D modeling teacher you will: Teach groups and individual students aged 10-19 years, 1+2 days a week. Teaching can be partly done remotely. Develop lessons and creative projects in Blender, where children can create everything from simple models to increasingly complex environments and animations. Inspire children to explore digital creation and develop their artistic skills. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: Have experience with 3D modeling and Blender. Preferably have a background in digital art, game development or animation. Enjoy working with children and young people and have pedagogical skills.
