During the period June-August, we need your help when our regular staff goes on vacation. We are therefore looking for a number of people who can support the business during the summer period. The work means that you are responsible for a constantly changing area that places high demands on protection awareness and safety. As our operations are conducted in the mining area in Kaunisvaara, you are stationed on site there.

Duties
As a measurement technician, you are part of the planning department at the mine, which is responsible for both short-term and long-term mining planning, measurement, geology and grade control. You will work in a team responsible for mine planning in the Kaunisvaara mining area. You will be responsible for ensuring that the operating organization receives the measurements and planning data required to ensure safe operations. You will work with setting out and measuring boreholes, tips, roads, loading sites and load limits. The work also includes checking load levels and profiles.

Education and qualifications
We are looking for you with an upper secondary education with a scientific focus or the equivalent. It is advantageous with education in metrology at university level and geological education. For employment, the ability to communicate in Swedish is required. We would also like to see that you have experience of measurement work from the construction or mining industry. You should have good ability to handle Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. It is also meritorious with experience of Topocad and/or other measurement/Cad programs. Access to a car is essential. For employment, driving license, class B for manual transmission is required.

Working hours
The working hours are shifts 7-7, which means morning and afternoon shifts with intermediate leave.
