During the period June-August, we need your help when our regular staff goes on vacation. We are therefore looking for a number of people who can support the business during the summer period. The work means that you are responsible for an area under constant change that places high demands on protection awareness and safety.

Duties

As a production worker in drilling, loading and transportation, you work in open pit mines above ground. Depending on the machines you operate, the tasks are as follows:

Production drilling:
You perform production drilling with the excavation technique pallet mining above ground in open pit mines.

Truck driving: Your main tasks are to transport ore and waste rock to crushers and tippers with a rock truck. You will transport the material with 100-200 ton rock trucks.

Loading: Your main tasks are loading with a high excavator or wheel loader, you also participate in light repairs and service, such as replacing wear parts. Driving a reindeer tractor also occurs.

In addition to the tasks described above, the work also includes assisting with other work in production and other departments within the framework of your competence when regular tasks are not performed The role also includes taking responsibility for the machines you use, facilities you stay in and following the process that has been decided. The work must be carried out in a safe and efficient manner from a work environment, cost and maintenance perspective.

Education and qualifications

We are looking for you who have upper secondary education or equivalent competence with experience from similar activities. For employment, a B driving license for manual transmission is required. It is meritorious if you have more than two years of experience of frequent driving. Ability to communicate orally in Swedish is also required. It is an advantage if you have experience of working with heavy construction machinery, have completed machine operator training or have a C driving license. If you have education in the work area such as technical high school or miner training, it is an additional merit.

Working hours

In the mine we have two different shift forms, K4 (7 days work, 7 days off) and K5 (work 2 night shifts, reverse shift, work 2 day shifts, 5 days off). Summer temps cover absences in different shifts so the schedule for temps varies as needed.

In K4 the following working hours apply: morning 04:52 - 14:30, afternoon 14:22 - 00:00

In K5 the following working hours apply: day 06:00 - 18:00, night 18:00 - 06:00

According to agreement.

Before the temp position starts, induction training is carried out during April and May. The length of the introduction varies depending on the previous experience you have in the field of work.
