The current management team consists of the editor-in-chief, news editor and development editor, and we want to complete this group with a fourth editor position.
The target group editor will be responsible for a group of journalists who will tell the best stories from Hedmarken for the target group of 30-49 year olds.
The editor will relieve the news editor in a predictable way, freeing up time in the management team for long-term planning.
It is desirable that you are also a writer, but the job mainly consists of following up and guiding the group, as well as the editorial staff in general.
You should have management experience, or a clear ambition to develop as a manager. You must enjoy collaborating and getting people to work well together.
A good flair for stories and the ability to get sources to come forward are important qualities for success. Good storytelling techniques and good digital skills are also an advantage.
We can offer:
A pleasant and good working environment, with skilled colleagues in several professional environments
Competitive terms and conditions.
Opportunities for skills development, courses and learning inside and outside the Amedia network
Access to use a nice vacation apartment abroad.
The editorial office is located in a media quarter in the urban heart of Innlandet in the center of Hamar.

Hamar Arbeiderblad has entered into an editorial and technological partnership with Amedia. In practice, this means that we work with Amedia's many tools on a daily basis and make use of the group's editorial development power.
We encourage all interested parties to apply, irrespective of gender and background, but have a special call for women, as we want to equalize the gender balance in the management group and in the editorial team.
Applicants should have a class B driver's license.
