The mission of the Social Administration is to meet people's need for security. The administration works to ensure that the municipality's residents receive social care in various forms, with a particular responsibility for safeguarding the needs and interests of vulnerable groups. We constantly strive for good quality that benefits the users of our services. DUTIES AND TASKS The short-term home is home to children, young people and adults with different functional variations. Users stay at the facility for a varying number of days per month based on a decision. The purpose of short-term stays is to give relatives relief and users a change of environment. The organization works on the basis of the fundamental principles and important starting points in the LSS Act. The organization's goal is for users to feel safe and receive good quality care. The work includes having the ability to meet the individual's need for guidance and care with respect for self-determination, independence and integrity. The tasks include being responsive to users' individual needs, wishes and resources. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who wants to work with people with physical, mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. We would like to see that you have an upper secondary education in care or children and leisure with a focus on developmental disabilities, social work or other education with a similar focus or equivalent experience. You should be responsible and have a positive attitude. Experience with the target group is a requirement. You show good judgment and understand that you influence the situation when you speak or act. You should be open to new ideas, show initiative, be flexible, have the ability to work long-term, have good collaboration skills and a professional approach. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Due to the law on "Work with children with disabilities, LSS", an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented upon employment. Order one directly when you submit your application, as the processing time at the police is approx. 2 weeks.
