WORK TASKS
The work as a janitor at Kristallen and Börsen is a varied job with the customer in focus. The work involves various caretaker tasks such as maintenance of equipment, some property maintenance, lock and passage management, control of property-related alarms, monitoring of ventilation systems, implementation of safety rounds and fire protection control. You will work in newly built properties with a high level of digital and technical control. Managing and operating modern sound, light or locking systems requires the ability and experience of systems management, in order to be able to provide training in current systems critical to the properties.
The work also involves general service linked to the property's activities, which can be varied, with everything from raising flags, receiving deliveries, furnishing for various events, putting on a load of coffee or walking around with national security and reviewing the premises before an event. A varied job with the opportunity to grow in both assignments and skills.
The workplace is located both in Kiruna City Hall Kristallen, and in the neighboring property Börsen, where part of the social services have their activities. You will be part of a team with another caretaker where you have a joint responsibility for both properties.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have at least an upper secondary education preferably with some form of technical focus, it is an advantage if you have experience of working as a caretaker preferably in similar assignments.
To work as a caretaker, you need to be service-oriented, self-motivated and have a good technical skills and that you take great responsibility for your work. We expect you to have general computer skills as the work involves working with various property-related systems. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
Kiruna municipality generally has an international character. In addition to having a good command of the Swedish language in speech and writing, good language skills in English and in one or more of our national minority languages Sami, Finnish and Meänkieli are also an advantage.
