The leisure unit in Kiruna municipality is responsible for the operation of municipal leisure facilities such as sports halls, ice rinks, swimming halls. We are in a development phase to be able to offer a wider range of activities before the opening of Midnattssolsbadet in the fall of 2025. We are now looking for a facility manager for the swimming pools in Kiruna. Maybe it is just you we are looking for!
WORK TASKS
You will be part of a team that focuses on service and treatment to ensure that visitors have a great experience of their visit to the swimming pool. For us, it is also important that our visitors feel safe and secure and you will have an important role as a facility manager. We are in a development phase to be able to offer a wider range of activities before the opening of Midnattssolsbadet in the fall of 2025.
In the role of facility manager for the swimming pool, you have overall responsibility for the daily operation and maintenance of the facility. The tasks are varied with property-related tasks such as maintenance, bookings, contact with associations and customers, maintenance and care of the internal and external environment. The work as a facility manager also includes keeping up to date with laws, regulations and guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
In the role of facilities manager, you are the face of our citizens and you take responsibility and have a strong commitment and drive. You have a good sense of service, are responsive and communicative with an aptitude for networking in the municipality. Therefore, we are looking for you who are positive, have good teamwork skills and are responsible and a good role model among colleagues and visitors to the facility. You are committed to good cooperation, sharing knowledge and experience so that the team develops together.
The applicant has an upper secondary education, is a good swimmer and has good computer skills. We would like you to have experience of water treatment and/or automation or control and regulation technology. We expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
As a plant manager, the working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday.
