WORK TASKS
Our goal is to minimize the number of accidents and their consequences. In order to prevent accidents, we focus on prevention, which is why we plan and organize our activities so that rescue operations can be started as quickly as possible and carried out efficiently, regardless of municipal boundaries.
We help and support individuals, organizations and other authorities to act before, during and after an incident. Therefore, your tasks will consist of both preventive work and operational emergency services. Other tasks such as maintenance of vehicles, equipment and service are usually referred to as station work, these are also included in your duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are now looking for firefighters for the full-time force. We are looking for you, man or woman, who is interested in working as a firefighter. It is desirable that you have worked in the municipal rescue service or completed Rescue Operations, Grib training course 2 with completed training for smoke diving or completed at least two semesters of SMO training or similar training with a passing grade.
You must have basic university entrance qualifications.
You must have at least a B driving license at the time of application and within 6 months of employment (probationary period) be eligible for a C driving license. You must be fully healthy and have good physical working capacity, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's requirements for smoke diving and have completed swimming proficiency tests according to Guldbojen, these qualities are checked and tested in the recruitment process.
It is meritorious if you:
- have completed training protection against accidents (SMO) or Firefighter (15 weeks).
- hold a BC driving license
- have had a longer service in the municipal rescue service.
- have other professional experience that can be valuable to the business.
The role requires you to be outgoing and able to communicate in a trustworthy manner, as the work involves a lot of contact with people, organizations and authorities in preventive work such as supervision, training and advice. You need to have good computer skills and be able to express yourself easily in both speech and writing.

Before employment begins, aptitude tests will be carried out as well as a medical examination, regarding smoke and chemical diving according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations.

- Certificate of completed education for higher education.
- Certificate of any completed rescue training.
- Certificate of any completed roll mat test.
- Certificate of completed swimming proficiency test according to Guldbojen.
- Certificate of driving license class.
