WORK TASKS As head of department for special housing, you are part of the management team and report directly to the head of social services. In addition to the Head of Social Services, the management team includes four heads of department and a head of operations. In your role as Head of Department, you will manage and develop the department together with your 11 unit managers. This mainly means that you ensure that the department's entire operations are conducted in a results- and goal-oriented manner with high demands on quality and development. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for people who have experience of managing and developing an organization and experience of responsibility for staff, finances and operations. The applicant has an academic education relevant to the assignment. It is a merit if in previous assignments you have been responsible for leading activities through managers. You have an interest in and knowledge of the activities relevant to the assignment and are well versed in current legislation. You have a good understanding of the conditions that govern public activities and experience in social work. You are confident in your leadership role and have the ability to engage and develop groups. In the role, you have many contact surfaces and to succeed, you must value good cooperation highly. You are results-oriented, have good communication skills and as a leader you are a good role model through clear and committed leadership. You have the ability to see opportunities and solutions from a holistic perspective. Very good knowledge of Swedish is required, both spoken and written.
