The municipal management administration is the municipality's central administration consisting of six departments responsible for financial, personnel and IT issues, as well as urban development, service and leisure issues. The Municipal Executive Office is responsible, among other things, for the administrative services of the Municipal Executive Board and the Municipal Council.
We are now looking for an investigator to work in the Municipal Executive Office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of investigator is broad and involves independently investigating, evaluating and following up various types of cases and in several areas of activity. Running projects independently or together with others is a major part of the work. You will be involved in the implementation of general elections.
Your duties include supporting the municipal management administration in their goal work and with internal control, coordinating the work on the department's information security work and GDPR.
The work content is very varied and the emphasis of the service will vary over time as our activities are guided by the needs of the political leadership, the business and the public.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a university degree in a field such as public administration, political science or another field deemed equivalent by the employer. You will have several years of experience working independently on investigations and project management. As the work is varied and you will often manage different projects, it is important that you are flexible and solution-oriented. This means that you enjoy managing parallel assignments and are used to working to deadlines. In the role, you will collaborate with others, both internally and externally, which requires good collaboration skills and relationship building. You need to be clear and educational in your communication.
We also want you to have extensive knowledge of and interest in the development of municipal activities. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in a politically governed organization and if you have worked with general elections.
You need to have a good knowledge of Swedish and English with particularly good ability to express yourself in writing. You need to be familiar with computer-based administration and digital business systems.
