WORK TASKS For those who work in the Short-Term Pool, this means that you are mainly booked for activities in the home care department and nursing and care homes. The position at Korttidspoolen is full-time and you work according to a basic schedule, but the working hours may change based on the activities' need for a substitute. The work as an assistant nurse/care assistant involves assisting the user according to their needs in personal care, eating situations, transfers, activities, etc. An important task is to support the health of the users. This means giving them support and encouraging them to continue doing what they can do themselves. We work with the best interests of the individual in mind and strive to ensure that our residents experience both dignity and well-being to the greatest extent possible. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for you who have a secondary care education or who are being trained as an assistant nurse. Alternatively, you have at least five years' experience as a care assistant in elderly care. As the work involves varying workplaces and working hours, flexibility is important. You need to be comfortable working both independently and in a team, and have a professional and respectful approach. Your ability to provide reassurance and calm in stressful situations is essential. You have a positive attitude and contribute to a positive working environment to foster a good working relationship with the businesses. We value a strong commitment to the well-being of older people and their ability to live in dignity. The work includes medical nursing work as delegated by a nurse, which requires a sense of responsibility and accuracy. Furthermore, documentation in the Combine system is part of the work tasks, which means that you should have good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. Knowledge of minority languages, such as Sami, Meänkieli or Finnish, is an advantage. Driving license B is a requirement.
