WORK TASKS
Psychologists contribute to the work of student health by bringing psychological expertise to Kiruna schools. The tasks mainly include promotional and preventive student health work such as consultation, guidance, training to school staff and student health teams. The tasks of psychologists also include, when necessary, making assessments and investigations to support students' development towards educational goals.
You will be part of the psychology team consisting of two licensed psychologists. You will collaborate with the school principals, who are ultimately responsible for each school's student health work. You will also work closely with the schools' special educators. The work also involves collaboration with, among others, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Rehabilitation and Social Services.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist. We would like you to have experience of consultative work and/or work with children and young people. Experience of student health work is an advantage. As a person, you have a good ability to create and maintain trusting relationships. The work also requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, initiative and the ability to work independently. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
You have a driving license B and you should have access to your own car.
