Kiruna municipality has high ambitions and invests in the education of children and students in preschool and school. We offer meaningful, important assignments in the service of society where there are great opportunities to make a real difference.
In the fall of 2025, we will start up a completely new quality team that will work closely with the principals and units as well as the administrative management with improvement work. The quality team will also include a municipal lecturer. We offer a very exciting assignment that you will be involved in designing from scratch. Together we will create change and build one of Sweden's best school municipalities!
WORK TASKS
As a quality developer, you work closely with our principals, units and administrative management to analyze, develop and support the work with systematic quality work. You contribute with your experience and expertise, research-based knowledge and practical guidance to create the best conditions for improvements and increased goal achievement for children and students. With us, you will have the opportunity to vary your work between operational and strategic efforts. You will have the opportunity to work and learn with many people. You will be part of the Culture and Education Administration's office, a workplace with a very good working environment, where you will be one of the colleagues in a well-functioning team. You will be part of the administrative management group and the headteacher groups for preschools or primary schools. You will be an important colleague and a close support to the units' staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who
- Have a relevant higher education degree in early childhood education and/or primary education
- Have a heart for children and pupils
- Have good empathic skills
- Can build sustainable and trusting relationships
- Have a solid knowledge of educational activities in preschool and/or primary school
- Have a solid knowledge of systematic quality work in preschool and/or primary school
- Have experience of school development and of leading processes for change
- Have good ability to systematize, structure, ask questions and reflect
- Is analytical and can translate data into development efforts
- Is a good communicator and collaborator
- Is flexible and able to vary your work in many different contexts
- Understand governance and management in early childhood education and care
- Have experience of working in a politically governed organization
Your immediate superior is the Head of Administration/School Director. You will have an office at the town hall in the center of Kiruna, but your workplace will primarily be in the units where you work closely with the principal and staff.
