DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The work as a school nurse means that you work as an employee of the central child and student health service within the Culture and Education Administration, but perform your duties at one or more school units, either in primary or secondary schools. Central child and student health is a support function for preschools and schools and here you are part of a staff group consisting of special educators, psychologists and counselors who all work as support at the units. The work of child and student health has a health-promoting, preventive focus and takes place in close collaboration with principals, work teams and student health teams at the schools. We are now looking for a substitute at 50%, possibly it is possible to discuss the degree of employment.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and with further training in health care for children and young people or district nurse training. It is an advantage if you also have experience of working in schools and student health medical intervention. You have a professional approach to students, guardians and other school staff and can easily create good relationships. We believe that you are confident and flexible in your mission and in your professional role. We also believe that you have both the ability and habit of working independently and making your own decisions, and that you can collaborate with others. As a person, you thrive in an assignment where you have a great deal of responsibility and are given room to take many of your own initiatives. You have a commitment and desire to be involved in developing the school's activities. We attach great importance to personal suitability.
You have a class B driving license and you have access to your own car for use in the service.
