WORK TASKS The work as a school nurse means that you work as an employee at the central child and student health service within the Culture and Education Administration, but perform your duties placed at one or more school units, either in primary or secondary school. Central child and student health is a support function for preschools and schools and here you are part of a staff group consisting of special educators, psychologists and counselors who all work as support at the units. The work of the child and student health service has a health-promoting, preventive focus and takes place in close collaboration with principals, work teams and student health teams at the schools. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and with further training in health care for children and young people or district nurse training. It would be an advantage if you also have experience of working in schools and the medical input of student health. You have a professional approach to students, guardians and other school staff and can easily create good relationships. We also believe that you have both the ability and habit of working independently and making your own decisions, and that you can collaborate with others.
