WORK TASKS Your role as a youth worker in the municipality is to work with registered young people who want support in finding work / internship or who want to investigate their areas of interest and skills to then start the right activity. Internal and external collaboration is central to the work of the KAA group. Important partners include parents, schools, municipal services, employers and other people in the young person's network. As a youth worker within KAA, you will motivate and work together with the young person to find suitable individual measures, plan the activity and follow up the measure. You will work on contacting employers and workplaces based on the youth's interest and wishes. The main purpose of municipal activity responsibility is that the young person should primarily resume/start studies. Preventive work is an important part of the task. The work requires documentation and record keeping in the Accorda system, which means that you need to be comfortable with IT systems and administration. Another target group that you will also work with is young people who are neither working nor studying between the ages of 20-24. You map, design action plans and follow up planning with the individual. Summer jobs/holiday jobs are also part of the assignment. Every summer, the municipality offers young people between the ages of 16 and 18 summer jobs/holiday internships within the municipality's own activities. This includes the procurement of places, follow-up and administration. Change and development work is a natural part of the working day and requires active participation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education with a focus on behavioral science, social work, study and vocational counselor or equivalent experience that the employer considers relevant to the position. To thrive in the role, you need to be good at structuring and planning your work. You are committed, goal-oriented and flexible. As a person, you have a strong drive and willingness to find solutions. You also have very good communication and collaboration skills. You have very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. It is also an advantage that you have extensive experience and knowledge of digital communication.
