Your role

We are now looking for an Automation Technician to join our Kiruna Mine Infrastructure section. In this role you will work with both maintenance and development of communication and control systems. Your main tasks will include systems for remote loaders, shovel crushers, loading trucks, drilling rigs, WLAN networks and mine access systems. You will also act as a technical resource for other parts of the mine, focusing on control systems for mining machines, ventilation (controlled underground ventilation) and water conveyance (pump chain).

This is what you bring with you

  • Experience or training in electricity, infrastructure, automation, control systems, troubleshooting
  • Approved upper secondary school grades or other equivalent education
  • B driving license for manual transmission
  • Fluent in Swedish speech and writing
  • Good computer skills

We are looking for you who have a technical interest and a strong problem-solving ability. You are thorough, responsible and have high safety awareness, especially in a mining environment. You enjoy working methodically and efficiently, both independently and in teams.
