Your role

Now we are looking for automation technicians for the pellet mills in Malmberget, where you, together with other automation technicians, are responsible for operational and preventive maintenance on electrical installations. Preventive maintenance involves periodic inspections, checks and calibrations of measuring equipment.

Your main duties are calibration, troubleshooting/repair as well as installation and assembly of instruments, control equipment, automation systems and maintenance of other electrical equipment and switchgear. The work also includes optimization of control circuits and adaptation of measuring equipment to each other and minor programming work in the process computer systems. You will have contacts with internal and external suppliers and participate in improvement and project groups.

We would like to see that the applicant is responsible, flexible and able to work independently. Knowledge of instrumentation, process control systems, switchgear, drive systems and low-current systems is an advantage.

  • High school education in electricity is a requirement. Orientation towards control and regulation technology is meritorious.

  • Driving license B is a requirement.
