Your role

We are now looking for a dedicated Cable Repairer to join our workshop located 1365 meters underground. You will belong to the Kiruna Gruva Rasbrytning section, where our mission is to maintain and develop the company's machinery to ensure high, resource-efficient availability and production.

Your everyday life as a cable repairer:

• Your primary tasks are repair and maintenance work on our cables that drive the electric loaders in the mine, as well as inspection and decisions on the operation of the production area and machines.
• The work is varied with preventive and emergency repairs that take place in the workshop and out in the field in the mine.
• With us, we jointly and committedly create the conditions for the loading to meet the production goals by keeping the machinery in trim.

The role requires you to be collaborative, as you work closely with several different work groups on a daily basis and need to be able to communicate, collaborate and build good relationships. Your creativity is also an important asset - as we are constantly working to find new and improved solutions to our ways of working. To succeed in the role, you also need to be solution-oriented and have the ability to handle varied situations and errors that arise. Finally, it is important that you are confident in yourself and can stand up for your opinions as you will need to share your knowledge with other work groups.

This is what you bring

• High school education, preferably from the automotive program or similar, alternatively that you have a passionate interest in machines or equivalent experience
• B-Driving license is a requirement
• Mastery of Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement
• Knowledge of electricity and hydraulics is meritorious
