Your role

The role involves coordinating and developing the business area's working methods and system support for planning and reporting. You will work continuously with analysis, follow-up and reporting of the business area, participate in and drive investigations and business development projects. Continuously leading, driving and implementing process improvements is an important part of the role, especially now that we are at the beginning of a development journey after a change of business system in the spring. The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues in the finance function and cross-functionally with other parts of the business.

As head of controller, you have personnel and operational responsibility for the business area's controller function. The group you will lead consists of a total of 6 employees, stationed in Kiruna, Malmberget, Luleå and Stockholm. You report to the CFO of the Iron Ore Business Area and are part of the Finance management team.

To succeed in the role, the ability to understand and develop processes from a holistic perspective is important. As a person, you are innovative and committed, and can make things happen through a systematic approach and your own drive. Experience of leadership is an advantage, but the most important thing is your personal qualities and that you are motivated by lifting and leading people. You have an interest in developing yourself, your employees and processes, working towards set goals and maintaining good cooperation with other parts of the business.

In addition to this, we are looking for you who have:

• high school education in economics or have other education with good work experience where you have acquired equivalent knowledge
• good experience and knowledge in financial management and planning processes (eg budget, short-term and long-term forecasting, business planning).
• B-driving license, as it is a requirement for all positions within LKAB
