Your role

We are now looking for a shift electrician for Gruvmedia. Gruvmedia builds, maintains and performs emergency repairs on the underground infrastructure in Kiruna. The infrastructure consists of secondary ventilation, drilling water, drainage roads, drinking water, electrical installations (up to 1000v) and some fixed water treatment plants. To fit the role, you should be responsible, always strive for good cooperation with colleagues, be flexible and enjoy solving problems.

Your everyday life as an electrician:

  • Your main duties will be electrical installation work in production areas and along roads.
  • You work with mine ventilation and water such as mounting and dismounting of ventilation fabric, fans, water pipes and valves
  • The work is largely done using scissor lift trucks where the work can be physically demanding.

What you bring with you

  • Secondary education with electrical engineering training, preferably with experience in the profession
  • B driving license (manual box) is a requirement
  • Experience of handling and driving machines is an advantage, as it is part of the work
  • Mining experience and C-driving license is an advantage
