Your role
We are now looking for a shift electrician for Gruvmedia. Gruvmedia builds, maintains and performs emergency repairs on the underground infrastructure in Kiruna. The infrastructure consists of secondary ventilation, drilling water, drainage roads, drinking water, electrical installations (up to 1000v) and some fixed water treatment plants. To thrive in the role, you should be responsible, always strive for good cooperation with colleagues, be flexible and enjoy solving problems.

Your everyday life as an electrician

  • Your main tasks are electrical installation work in production areas and along roads.

  • You work with mine ventilation and water, such as the assembly and disassembly of ventilation fabric, fans, water pipes and valves

  • The work is largely done using trucks with scissor lifts where the work can be physically demanding.

This is what you bring with you

  • High school education with electrical engineering education, meritorious if you have experience in the profession

  • B driving license with manual transmission is a requirement

  • Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing is a requirement

  • Experience of handling and driving machines is meritorious, as it is part of the work

  • Mining experience and C-driving license are meritorious
