Your role

We are now looking for a temporary shift electrician for Kiruna mine. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance within the conveyor system. Your main duties will be to manage the operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment and control systems. To be suitable for this role, you need to be stable and calm in stressful situations. You work carefully without taking shortcuts, even at high altitudes, and take responsibility for your own safety and that of others. You are confident, speak up about safety deficiencies, and are able to build relationships and work responsively in teams, working closely with mechanics, inspectors and system technicians.

What you bring to the table

  • Secondary education in electricity or equivalent is a requirement
  • B-driving license with manual transmission is a requirement
  • Fluency in spoken and written Swedish is a requirement
  • Experience of electrical work and troubleshooting is an advantage
