Your role

Kiruna Malmförädling's mission is to refine ore from mine to finished product through gravity, enrichment and pelletization. The department consists of eight sections, where four are the main processes and four are support sections. The KA3/KK4 section includes both Enrichment Plant 3 and Pellet Plant 4 and handles approx. 25 thousand tons of raw material daily, which is processed into 19 thousand tons of finished pellets. As an automation technician belonging to KA3/KK4, you have a varied everyday life where you work in an organized manner and collaborate with other functions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for you who are solution-oriented, responsible and have a strong safety mindset. Typical tasks include installation, assembly and replacement of instruments, control equipment and automation systems, as well as working with power electronics, general power and lighting. You will also be responsible for optimizing control circuits and adapting measuring equipment, as well as carrying out periodic servicing, inspections and surveillance checks. In addition, minor programming work in the process computer systems is included.

What you bring with you

• Secondary education in electricity or equivalent is required
• B-driving license (manual transmission) is a requirement
• Good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written is a requirement
• A couple of years of experience as an electrician, automation technician or instrument technician is an advantage
• Knowledge of the ABB800xA system is an advantage
