About the role

We are now looking for a field technician for our network group based in Malmberget. As a field technician in the network group, you are part of a team responsible for the physical communication infrastructure at LKAB's operating sites. The group consists of several installers who work both independently and in groups depending on the tasks to be performed. To help you, you also have a Team Leader who plans and prioritizes the group's activities on a daily basis.

• Fiber networks
• Com radio networks
• Copper network
• WIFI
• CCTV
• Telephony
• Business developed installations
• Etc.

You will be based at our above-ground premises in Malmberget and your field of work will cover all of LKAB's underground and above-ground facilities in Malmberget, Gällivare and Luleå.

Depending on your experience and the assignment for the day, you will work either independently or together with a colleague.

The service offers varied working days where we need to be able to make quick reprioritizations and shift focus - all to make the business run as smoothly as possible.

It is a daytime position as a civil servant, where you are free on red days and most of the squeeze days.You may be required to be on call at a later stage if necessary.

What you bring with you

We expect that you who apply for the position have a few years of experience as an electrician, technician, installer or similar with knowledge in one or more of our technical areas and feel an interest in developing with us in the long term in all technical areas.

For you to thrive in the role, we see that you are practical as a person and have an interest in technology, you also need to enjoy working with changing, operational tasks both independently and together with colleagues. For you, it is a matter of course to have a good dialog with your colleagues, your supervisor and manager but also with our customers. If you would also describe yourself as solution-oriented and like to take the initiative, we think you may be the right person for the position.

(approved for manual transmission) and high school diploma are a requirement for all positions within LKAB. The position also requires the ability to express oneself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
