Your role

As Group Manager for Operational Purchasing, you are responsible for managing and developing your business, which today consists of about 7 employees spread across our various locations. You are part of the section for tactical/operational purchasing and report to the section manager.

Your duties mean that you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for the operational supply flow of materials. This is done cross-functionally and in close collaboration with the business, with a focus on generating added value, minimizing risk and reducing costs.

The tasks also consist of:

  • Developing and managing processes and working methods related to our business system IFS
  • Creating and strengthening important collaboration forums within the department as well as with departments such as finance, material supply and ordering activities
  • Developing purchasing methods and automating flows and processes to improve efficiency
  • Identifying and managing deviations, establishing KPIs to ensure effective control and follow-up of daily operations.
  • Create and follow up relevant goals for the section and employees in order to contribute to the development of employees and LKAB:s development

This is what you bring

  • University or college education in economics, technology, law or other education combined with experience in the field
  • Several years of experience working with business relations, preferably in purchasing or sales
  • Knowledge of operational purchasing/material supply
  • Experience of leading roles
  • Experience of IFS (meritorious)
