About the business:

Kiruna Malmförädling's mission is to process ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are screening, enrichment and pelletizing. The department consists of a total of eight sections, four of which are part of the main process and the other four are support sections in maintenance, quality, technology and process development and material processes. The pellet plants

KK2 and KK3 both belong to the same section, which includes the role of Group Manager Operations. The organization is currently divided into four technical areas, operations, mechanical maintenance, electricity/automation and plant. An extensive reorganization is underway within the ore processing, which means that all technical branches except operations will be centralized and included in the new Maintenance section.

Your role:

In the role of Group Manager in the pellet plants, you will work on tactical and operational issues in consultation with your coworkers, while raising and discussing strategic issues with the Section Manager. Currently, you will be the immediate supervisor of five production managers, one technician, two process engineers and one environmental engineer.

The following tasks will be included in your position:

  • Responsibility for ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with established health and safety requirements.

  • Driving delegated health and safety tasks.

  • Personnel manager for direct reports with responsibility for recruitment, training, skills development, rehabilitation and adaptation within the framework of LKAB's established policy.

  • Machine owner with responsibility for ensuring that operator maintenance is carried out and established goals for TAK and the environment are achieved.

  • Development of production and prioritization of maintenance efforts in the work order process.

  • Establish and manage budget for operation KK2/KK3 and ensure efficient use of resources.

  • Developing the basis for investments, 5 year plans/LOMP.

  • Responsibility for ensuring that there are improvement activities.

  • Ensure that routines in the operating system in your own area of responsibility are established and developed.

  • Continuous operational reporting to the head of section.

  • Request and complete MBL negotiations according to the negotiation procedure.

  • Good role model and clear demander: ensure that the code of conduct is complied with in the business.

What you bring to the table:

You are motivated by lifting and leading people. You have an organizational eye and find it easy to prioritize and structure your tasks.
