Your role

Working as a coordinating guide at LKAB is a fun and stimulating assignment. The service is very varied and includes receiving visitors and telling them about our operations. Our visits focus on the transition to carbon dioxide-free processes and products, the environment and social transformation. The role also includes actively developing the visitor activities together with your colleagues.

In the role, you will, among other things:

  • Prepare, plan and carry out guided visits in Swedish or English, with associated administration
  • Responsible for keeping up to date with the latest developments in our business
  • Active participation in events linked to the visitor activities
  • Manage daily supervision of our visitor premises, including technical equipment and vehicles
  • Handle other administrative work linked to the visitor activities, for example, establish routines, orders and invoice management, etc.m

What you bring

We are looking for you who have strong self-leadership and are prepared to take a lot of personal responsibility as you work alone in the role at the site. You have the ability to see the big picture with the visit and are flexible in your approach. To thrive in the role, you have easy social interaction, are educational in your storytelling and are a good ambassador for the company as you are also the face of LKAB's brand during the visits. You have a genuine passion for interacting with people and offering a very good service at a high level with the customer in focus.

Furthermore, the position requires that you:

  • Have at least an upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on tourism or similar
  • Have experience in guiding/visiting or other service-related professions
  • Have very good skills in communicating both in Swedish and English, in speech and writing
  • Is comfortable with the Microsoft Office package and technical equipment
  • Has a B-driving license
  • Has knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English (meritorious)
  • Works or has worked in LKAB:s operations (meritorious)
