Your role

The business's mission mainly includes conducting investigations, concept studies, feasibility studies, preliminary planning and construction projects on behalf of the business in Malmberget. As head of the section, you drive the business based on the company's strategy, policies and business plans. You set goals, plan activities and ensure that projects and investigations are carried out according to the company's routines.

The section maintains a dialog with clients within Malmberget, focusing on managing ongoing deliveries and identifying future needs. Your responsibility is to ensure that the section's delivery capacity meets demand both in the short and long term. Budgeting, follow-up and forecasting are included in your area of responsibility, as well as ensuring that operations are conducted in line with work environment, safety and environmental requirements.

As section manager for processing projects, you will be part of the Technology and Service management team and report directly to the department manager. Your section has a central mission to, in close cooperation with other operations in Malmberget and the business area's staffs, drive the operational and strategic direction forward. The section consists of about 14 employees, consisting of Project Managers, Construction Managers, CE engineers and coordinators.

In addition to this, you need to have:

• A college or university degree, such as civil engineering or other degree that, combined with relevant experience, is deemed equivalent.
• Preferably several years of experience in mining and/or ore processing operations
• Experience from work with coordination, management, control and execution of construction projects
• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written
• B driving license is a requirement for all positions at LKAB
