Do you want to be part of creating a workplace where both people and organizations grow? As an HR Business Partner at LKAB, you will play a key role in supporting managers and driving long-term change to achieve success. Are you ready to take the next step and help shape the workplace of tomorrow?

The most important job of the future

We want to lead the transformation of our industry towards a sustainable future. Just as we want to change the world, we want to develop everyone who joins us on this journey, personally and professionally. Do you want to help shape the future of the world's mining and minerals industry?

Your role

As an HR Business Partner at LKAB, you will play a central role in supporting our managers in various types of personnel issues, from skills supply and labor law to rehabilitation and leadership development. Together with the managers, you will shape the content and methodology of the work, giving you the opportunity to develop and make a difference in a dynamic work environment.

You will also participate in union negotiations and have close contact with our union representatives. You will work in a team where you will be supported by both our current HR Business Partner and other HR colleagues at LKAB.

About the business

LKAB's open pit mines in Svappavaara, four miles southeast of Kiruna, extract iron ore through drilling, blasting, crushing and screening for pellet production. Operations also include ore processing in concentrating and pelletizing plants.

We offer a family environment with strong cohesion, great opportunities for outdoor activities and personal development, and a workplace where it is fun to go to work.

What you bring

We are looking for you who have a great interest in HR issues and want to contribute with your skills and your commitment.

To succeed in the role, we believe that you:

  • Have a university degree in HR, behavioral science or other education / experience that we consider equivalent.
  • Have a genuine interest in personnel and leadership issues and a conviction that well-being is the key to good results.
  • Have a driving license (B), as this is required for all positions at LKAB.
  • Can express yourself well in both Swedish and English.
  • We would like you to have a few years of experience in consultative HR work, but this is not a requirement.

You have a service-oriented and coaching approach and the ability to both support and challenge when needed. You are motivated by creating long-term, positive change and building strong relationships within the organization. To thrive with us, you need to be communicative, confident in your work and driven by creating success for both individuals and the organization.

We believe that the right attitude, the desire to develop and the ability to see the strategic value of HR are at least as important as previous experience.

What you get

  • Reward program
  • Free training at LKAB:s own gym and at our partners at the sites in Norrbotten
  • Free health care allowance and study support as well as access to art association, leisure association, mountain cabins and family activities
