Your role


We at Pelletsverk 2 & 3 (KK2/KK3) in Kiruna are now looking for an inspector for Works Service. We are a small team consisting of 5 people in positions such as project manager, planner, maintenance technician and technician. The work as an inspector mainly consists of performing condition checks (continuous supervision, FLT) on protection and safety equipment that is part of the process and our buildings. The work follows and is carried out according to the legal requirements that apply regarding intervals, implementation and documentation. Examples of objects covered are inspection of, among other things, pressurized vessels and peripheral equipment, central gas, lifting equipment, access roads, ventilation systems and buildings.

We are looking for a structured person who thrives on working independently, as in this role you are responsible for planning and prioritizing your own tasks. We also value good collaboration skills as you will have contact with both colleagues and contractors. It is meritorious if you have experience from working in our facilities KK2/KK3 and if you have experience from working in the business system IFS. It is also meritorious if you have experience or training in welding, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics or electricity.

In addition to this, you need to have:

  • Approved final grades from high school or equivalent
  • B-driving license is a requirement for all positions at LKAB
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
