Your role
As an instructor in the mining training function, you and your team will be responsible for training our new and existing employees in safety, machine handling and working methods. Our goal is to constantly develop and improve LKAB by creating educational training that contributes to the future of mining.
Your focus is in preparation, which includes tunnel loading, rock reinforcement, netting and scrapping. You will also be responsible, together with the team, for other training in areas such as escape routes, cranes and counterbalanced trucks.

To succeed in this role, we look for you to have an interest in safety, rock work, technology and machines. You are a role model when it comes to working safely, you stand up for your opinions and have the courage to speak up when needed. As the role involves contact with different people, you need to take initiative in social situations and be able to speak up and be listened to. The training material needs constant updating, so it is important that you can think outside the box and find creative solutions to old problems.
